I am looking at menus for DLRP and have decided not to go for the dining plan option as I had intended to.
However there will be two adults and one child aged 2 years. Breakfast is included with our stay and I have assumed we will likely have a small lunch (CS) and a sit down dinner. I have read that children under the age of 3 get to eat for free, but only if they eat off of your plate??? I have read mixed comments on this, i.e. they can eat for free at TS too, is this correct? I have looked at the menus and it appears that there are children's menus but often they seem to be 3 courses (fixed price). My son is not a big eater and would not be able to eat such huge portions, but then again he would not necessarily like to eat what we order either. Is there any way I can order him something small? For example at Cafe Mickey the childrens menu is EU19.99 for starter, main course, drink and dessert or a burger on it's own is EU12.99. All of this for children under 12, well surely a child of 11 would eat more than a child of 2? 12.99 seems very expensive for a burger if he would only manage maybe half! I am assuming of course that we would have to pay for him if I were to order him something from the children's menu?
I am so confused!!!! I would like to know this as our meals play a big factor in costing up this trip.
Thanks everyone
