Ok so I'm filling out my checklist and I'm not sure what entree's to pick from? So far I have the Parmesan crusted chicken. I know I want to also do a pasta and a meat. Any suggestions? Also do we get to pick desserts as well or no? Thanks for your help.

I tasted the pesto gnocchi from Le Cellier at my tasting session last week and it was amazing. You don't have to limit yourself to the menus they gave you. Look at the resaurant menus on allears.net.

it was waaayyyyy more food at our tasting than we expected! i think whatever you are interested in (that probably is reasonable to your event) they will feed you!!!!

we had brunch - we had chosen as entrees (in addition to omelet station which was not offered at the tasting, but i wasn't feeling like i needed to taste them either) an artichoke penne pasta, chicken with fennel jus dealie - it was the tinkerbell menu. they made full portions of each. we were toying with a green salad (we tasted two options), we tasted mashed v. roasted potatoes and even the cheese soup we wanted. danish was on our brunch, and they had those for us to taste as well! the dessert was cake, so that was the "dessert" item.

Hmm Thank you ladies. I asked the assistant the other day and she was like just check the menues we sent you. Which wasn't much help. LoL

Pretty much anything you ask for they will do. You arent even limited to the set menus they send you.

I wanted things on our brunch buffet from other restaurants on property, so I asked for those.

Here is what we ended up requesting for our tasting:

Appetizers
  • Mickey-roni & cheese
  • tonga toast_(From Polynesian resort)

Salads
  • mixed greens w/craisins & sunflower seed, cucumbers, carrots & tomatoes w/zinfandel vinaigrette (from ariel buffet dinner menu)
  • Toasted Italian Bread Salad - tossed with cucumbers, tomatoes, arugula, onions, basil and red wine vinegar (from Mama Melrose)
Entrées
  • Seared Chicken Breast with Granny Smith Apples, Roasted Fennel, and Fig Jus (from Tinkerbell buffet)
  • Grilled Mahi-Mahi - Served over Israeli Couscous and arugula with Honey-Soy glaze (from Living seas)

Desserts (Other than Wedding Cake)
Allspice-Flavored Cake with Seasonal Berries (From Jiko - for dessert party?)

Now, there was a little mix up when we got there, and they didnt have the mahi mahi - instead he had a rack of lamb. Which, while delicious, was not something we were putting on the menu. BUT they scrambled to make it up to us and he did a seared tuna on the spot. Which was fabulous!

mmmm I'm getting hungry just thinking of all this food. LoL. Do you know if you have a dinner buffet if it also comes with salad or is that just for the plated dinners?

jspahn your menu sounds delicious! Would you mind sharing how much it was per person?

we actually change up our menu quite a bit from the tasting - here is the info from our BEO. It ended up being $72 per person, which looking back seems silly and we could have easily cut things.

That's a really good idea about having a create your own salad bar. Thanks for the idea.
