Menu Restrictions on DDP?

Just wondering, are there any restrictions on what can be ordered at table service restaurants when on the DDP? Thought I had read on another site that menus are limited to those on the DDP? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

not that I am aware of or have encountered at any of the resturants I have eaten at. of course alcoholic dirnks are nto included, and now, no appetizers
but as far as selection I dont think so

We used the DDP for the first time this last visit and the menues were the same. Nothing was different.

There are a few, but not many.

California Grill restricts some of the sushi selections to entrees rather than appetizers if you are on the Deluxe plan. I hear that Wolfgang Puck Express (CS) excludes a couple of its most expensive entrees. You can't order the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream on the dining plan. Some CS places might limit you to a certain dessert. Depending on the restaurant, you may not be able to order a "dessert sampler" at all, or they may require it to be ordered by two people, that sort of thing.

Interesting, I never encountered ANY restrictions. But seriously, if someone decides to order Kitchen Sink as "1" DDP desert, that seems like overkill to me anyway. Doesn't that feed like 5???? Too funny!!!
I really think the DDP is wonderful!
As a funny aside, a family member recently used the Deluxe DDP, said they had so many credits extra as the food was just SO MUCH, they all gained weight, LOL, and said that even though they THOUGHT they needed the plan (for all the character meals and extra credit restaurants), they wound up not going to some because it was just so much.
They loved it and we now LAUGH whenever we talk about their "foodie" trip to Disney!

When we had a few left overs on the DDP, the resort gave us lanyards and pins. He tried (feb) and they were told they no longer do it.
