Are adults allowed to order off the kids menus? asking for a family member.

At most restaurants anyone, regardless of age, can order from the kids' menu. However, there have been occasional posts that someone was not allowed by a server or restaurant. The ones that have been most often mentioned are San Angel and La Hacienda, both in World Showcase (Epcot). The menus do say for guests 3-9 years old so a restaurant can enforce the age limit if it chooses.

It happened once on our trip, at BOG for lunch. He had no problem ordering from the kids menu but we used the dining plan and so he used an adult entitlement. What bothered me about it is that when you get an adult qs meal, dessert is included. But it wasn't with the kids meal, even though he was technically "paying" for an adult lunch.
