Can you give me an idea about menu selections at This restaurant. Best time to eat---Lunch or Dinner selections.

Thanks PattyN

I recently ate there and cannot recommend it at all. I thought the food was horrible. The lunch is a fixed price of $12.99 for a two course meal (even though I got confused and thought it was 3 course - ordered the dessert; which was not good; and had to pay another $3.00 for it)

Dinner is a fixed price of 17.99 and includes three courses and your drink. I know french soup and salad are on the list of the appetizers. I got the fish and chips; greasy and tasteless, but I cannot remember any other entrees. The dessert I got was chocolate cake. Not very good. Surrounded by cheap whipping cream and cracker jacks.

When I was there the restaurant was dirty. You walk downstairs into a relatively small room against the water way pond thingy. Maybe I should have ate outside.

I am honestly not a negative person, but I thought the food was bad and the service was lackluster. The only characters that showed up were Goofy and Chip and Dale. I was very disappointed in it.

Have they changed the menu since Avalon Cove?

I have eaten here three times and found the foos to be good to great. I thought the Fish and Chips was fine though not outstanding. The chicken soup was tasty and hot. I love the meat loaf dinner and the dessert was chocolaty and sweet. We had plenty of Character interaction too.

The adult menu offers a couple salads, fish and chips, hamburger. The starters are soup or salad. I'm not sure about the children's menu as my "child" was 12 and had to order off the adult menu (she barely ate a thing). I've eaten there twice and thought it was fine both times. I would pick lunch over dinner based on price. I think the interior of the restaurant is very pretty, it has an under the sea theme with very cool light fixtures and a mural on the wall. When I went at dinner Ariel was already gone for the night (we arrived around 5:15) but we saw Chip, Dale, Goofy, Pluto and Minnie all in their seaside ensembles. At lunch we saw Ariel, Goofy, Pluto and Minnie.

Y2L, yes it is an entirely different menu from the Wolfgang Puck restaurant...unfortunately.

We ate here for dinner and I enjoyed it. We had a wonderful server (Kevin) and the Salmon BLT was great. We sat outside and were seated at 7:00 pm and Ariel was their the entire time. She left for a few minutes for a break, but we didn't miss her much w/ the other characters roaming around. We ate outside and the kids loved the sights of the pier.

We would eat here again.

Did I meet you at Tia's house, at the dis meet? If not I am another "Boise" person. Trying to let everyone know that if you go to Travelocity.com, United has BOI to LAX airfare for $51 RT which = about $83.50 with taxes and fees. Start planning another trip.

smiles Patty

We have had the dinner there 5 times over the past year and have had great experiences each time. Tons of food and really good character interaction. The hostess there and Ariel even remembered our 3 yr old ds' name!
The food has always been decent for us. Not the best meal I have ever eaten but certainly good to quite good each time. I love eating there.
