Mens Warehouse.... Please Explain how it works...

We want to use Mens Warehouse for our tux rentals. Please explain to me how it works... Do we go to our Local MWH and get the guys measured and pay our local MWH for the rentals and they give our info the the MWH in Orlando to deliver them to our room?? Or do we get the guys measured at our local MWH and then have them send the measurements to the orlando location and we pay them?? I am really confused to how this works... Can someone help?? Also, how does it work for them delivering it to the room, do they come to the room and make sure it fits or do they just drop it off? How do we get into contact with them to let them know what room we are in?

They weren't doing the room delivery last year when we got our tuxes, so someone else will have to answer that question. But, for the measurements our guys went to their local MW Tux and they even made their payments there (our groomsmen were in several locations across the country). Each local store sent the info on to the Orlando location.

I went to a MW in Houston and picked out the tuxes and registered all of our guys names. Then, we sent the info out to the guys, and they went to their respective MW stores and got measured and paid their deposits. Two (DH and one of this groomsmen) were deployed to sandy places, so they got measured at the local sew shop and sent in their measurements and deposit.

Then, all of this was collected by MW in FL (we were in constant contact with Julie Collins-Mischia by email) and they coordinated with us to have the tuxes dropped off at the bell services at the GF (where we were staying). The wedding was on a Monday, and they really want the guys to try them on during the work week, so they delivered them on Friday. We actually had a problem with DH's jacket (too big) and they sent out another one on Saturday.

The day after the wedding, DH made sure they all got to bell services again to be picked up. Except for his...we arranged to keep it two more days for the MK shoot and took it to bell services after that.

It was easier than running to pick them up!

We actually used Carolyn Allen's Bridal/Tux in Orlando. It's about 10-15 minutes from Disney property and they were awesome! We had Jim have a personal fitting while we were in town for our planning session (and picked out the tuxes, colors, shoes, etc for everyone). The other guys went to local tux shops since they are spread around the country, got measured, and sent me their measurements which I passed on to Kathy @ Carolyn Allens's. Then on friday morning before the wedding the men had a tux fitting at the BW and the tuxes were tweaked overnight and delivered about as perfect as a rented tux can be on Saturday morning to Jim's room.

I also used them for all of our dress pressing. (My dress, my mom's, honor attendants, and flower girl's) They came right to my room at the BW and did a FANTASTIC JOB- Especially considering my dress was Italian Silk Satin!

Pick up was just as easy-- the groomsmen all dropped their tuxes off Sunday morning with bell services at the BW and Jim's tux and my dress were picked up a few hours after our MK shoot. (They took care of prepping and sending my dress to the Wedding Gown Preservation Co.)

Speaking of which, I recommend the Wedding Gown Preservation Company (out of Endicott, NY) as well. They got ALL the dirt out (and the bottom of my dress was BLACK!), the candle wax that got spilled on the train post-ceremony out, and basically my dress looks as if it has never been worn--- FABULOUS!!!

Wow, I was wondering about the same exact things and thanks for all the information. We're having our MK shoot two days after our wedding... How much extra was it for your DF/DH to keep his tux until the MK shoot was over? Thx!

For MW, we didn't have to pay extra to keep the tux an extra two days for the MK shoot. We ended up having the tux for almost a week.

I just wanted to add that the girls at the Winter Garden MW were excellent! They contacted me a few times to let me know who paid, who didn't pay, who still needed to get fitted, etc. Then they called to see how we wanted to get the tuxes, we opted to go to the store so the guys can try them on there but you can get it delivered to your room. They called right before the wedding to go over our order to make sure we got everything we needed. When we were done, we left the tuxes in the lobby of the hotel and they were picked up with no problem. I was very impressed by their service and I highly recommend them.
