My hubby has grown tired of his crocs. We'll be in the World for 8 days. I know he'll wear tennies on some days, but he'll need another option also. We are on a budget and don't want to spend more than about $40.

Here's what I'm looking at:

Teva Mush flipflops
Teva Open Toachi (found a pair on clearance)
Croc flipflops
Skecher's Journeymen

I would like to get him a pair of Keens or Merrells, but he refuses to let me spend that much (silly man). So, does anyone have any advice on any of these shoes? Worn any of them for extended periods? I bought myself 2 pair of the Mush flipflops, but they haven't arrived yet, so I don't know their comfort level yet.

Thanks for any advice!!:)

Teva Mush flipflops DD has these and loves them, if DH likes flips these are a great choice
Teva Open Toachi (found a pair on clearance) DD and I both have the closed version of these, very comfy,
Croc flipflops no idea
Skecher's Journeymen no idea

DH has Keen Newports (we all do) and he says they are worth the money and I agree, they last forever and look new for years. I have found them on sale before as low as $45, if you have the time they are worth looking for. He lives in them all summer.

Depending on what size and color you can get the Keens at Amazon as low as $59 right now.

Of the ones you listed for a man I would talk him into a bit more money and get the Keens. They really are nice and more manly looking then most sandals, the treads even last forever which is great for a walker, no slipping like with the crocs. DH got a second pair after 3 years not cause they were worn out at all he just wanted a different color.

Hope this helps

Meant to add that the Teva Mush is really only good for about 3-4 months before they kinda flatten and you need to replace which is fine for DD as she is still growing but if he wants a more lasting shoe this is not the best choice.

Thanks for your reply. He's still up in the air, but I have been working on him about the Keens. Our son has them and loves them. I think they look great too!:thumbsup2

Well, we order the Teva Toachis. He doesn't like them at all. I just found him a pair of Keens Venice for $60 in the color he wants (they had some cheaper, but they were crazy colors). So, I win!!!!
