To help you better plan your visit, we want to let you know that your stay falls within a necessary refurbishment period. From time to time, certain maintenance is required to keep our amenities and offerings updated and in line with Disney standards. As part of these efforts, Menehune Bridge will be unavailable from April 21 – May 16, 2025. We invite you to make a splash at any of the other fun water features, including Ka Maka Pool & Grotto, Waikolohe Pool and Stream, our two exhilarating water slides, multiple whirlpool spas, and Keiki Cove splash zone.

While we work our magic, it is possible that you may see or hear construction work, but rest assured noise should not be heard between dusk and 8 a.m. Please know your comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities.

Yeah this stinks, it’s when I am there. I hope I can request a room not close to it since I got pool view

We were there just prior to the refurbishment. (Thank goodness too because my 3 year-old son spent a good chunk of his time there. He probably went up and down those slides 50+ times).

But there was one day where there were 3 CMs looking down over one of the drains. And then someone made the decision to close the entire area down. It was back open after a few hours.
