Dh just called because he is stuck in traffic. Said he called to say I love you....awwww.

In the next breath he says what do you have planned for today? Well being it is Monday I am doing what I do every Monday.....checking the Internet, eating breakfast and then cleaning my (four-level) house. DH's response, is that it? That was a quick way to tick me off this morning....what does he mean is that it? Cleaning a three bedroom, four bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, family room and laundry room house is an all day job! ARGH!!!! Men! I just don't get the thought process sometimes.

Thanks for letting me vent.

I have a better one for you.
I work weekends , I work 10-11 hour shifts, I get home around 4 pm ( I'm at work at 5:30 am ) and when I get home I'm exhausted.
My kids love rice so that's what I made them last night for dinner, dh says....why is it that the kids are eating rice? that's poor people's food! Geez I never looked at it that way!! then when I said , I'm exhausted from work and this is the quickest thing to make, he says....well , if you remind me, I can cook dinner on sundays from now on, but you have to remind me because I don't remember. WHAT??? yu don't remember that people eat in this house on sunday nights and you don't remember that I'm exhausted from working 10 hours??? I am making a nice HUGE sign and place it on the fridge door , don't forget to make dinner sunday night!!

For some reason, my husband would say the absolute worse thing in just about every situation.

He said recently that if a man says something and there are two ways to take it and one way ticks you off. Then he meant the other way.
