he is easy going? or he has no patience?

uh if he has no patience - depending on what time of year ....leave him at the hotel...or at the golf course...

when are you going?

The guy sounds like myself.

I always wanted to go fishing or hunting
on my vacations and I always did.
Then, I was forced to go to WDW, which I thought
was only for kids. I had a blast and I go has often
as I can now.
Tell the guy to ease back, give in a little, ride the
rides, do the shows and become a kid again.

Ah, isn't that an oxymoron? As to what to expect from him, only you would know that, as you are the only one here that knows him.

He'll do great, but I do think easy going and no patience are, as Gail said, an oxymoron. :)

yeah - I am a man, 41 yrs old... and I think Disney world is awesome... we will be doing it a great deal more... not enough

but if he has little patience for standing in lines... that is why I ask ..."When are you going?" if you ar going at a down time then you should be ok - if it is slammed city while you are there... then get to know fast pass really well.

If I am comprehending, he is easy going but maybe has no patience for lines? If so, go during the slow season. I have little patience for long waits and go in January when there are no lines. If there was an hour wait for a ride, I wouldn't go on it. If this sounds like him, take him during the slow period and he should enjoy it.

Geez, this person was simply looking for advice not people ripping on spelling or perhaps not writing the sentence correctly. Cut them some slack. An easy going guy will enjoy himself. Just take it slow and relaxing, explore, and have fun and you should have a great trip.

Get him to the parks as soon as they open. You can ride more attractions during the first couple of hours of the day because the parks don't normally get crowded until a little before noon. Have a good time.

I hope you've gotten some books on WDW and looked through them a lot, and have some idea of what your doing when. I fell in love with Disney the very first time our family went and as it turned out its biggest fan in the family. The time of year your going is important as to line wait times also. We can only go during July because of my wife's and mine work schedules. However, my family will tell you that I'm not very patient either, but at Disney, my whole deminner changes. I become a little kid again.

My advice to you is, make sure that he has picked out some rides, shows, places to see/do and places to eat at, that he specificly wants to see and do at Disney, along with everybody else in the family. There's something for everbody at all of the parks. You might be surprised about how his impatientance just disappears, and the whole family has a great vacation.

Have a great time there!

tedimouse,
Are you from LA or IA? If LA, what part. We go to WDW a couple of times a year and I love it--I am a male, sometimes easy going, sometimes without patience-LOL. Anyway, if you are from LA and close to New Orleans, let us know.
The biggest piece of advice I can give is to let your husband "feel" like he is in charge. You women know how to do that (LOL). If he believes what you are doing is his idea, it will be hard for him not to enjoy himself.
So, figure out what you want to do, then get him to suggest it.
But dont worry too much. Once he gets there, I believe he will regress into his childhood.
Have a great trip.
