I'm a cougar and proud of it!!!![]()
There you go! If you are happy, why should we care? Good for you.

Yeah, uh huh, that's why I'm with my younger husband. It couldn't remotely be because I love him...could it?
Most mature adults that have had such relationships know that, and are not bothered by an age difference.
I understand.
I am 20 years older than my husband. We have been maried for 15 wonderful, happy, and incredibly fun years.
I can tell you he didn't marry me for my money(although I wish I had enough $$ that I could entertain such a thought LOL) or my looks
(sadly lacking here too, folks), so it must have been my charming
personality!! Yup, that's what it was. . .or maybe he's still waiting for me to win the lottery. . .oh, he says it was the AARP
Card!

I LOVE IT!!!!
My dh teases me all the time that he can't wait till I can start getting Senior Citizen discounts. I keep telling him that if he doesn't respect his elders, that I won't share my Senior Citizen discounts with him.![]()
"if you're happy and you know it clap your hands.."
oh..
wait..
"clap if you believe in faries?"
"clap for the wolfman?"
how about:
Clap if you just believe in a fairytale relationship, despite an age difference.![]()

oh, no, not that!
Absolutely. And I said, life is what you make it.![]()
You just sterotyped they whole age difference relationship situation as sexual, now that, I find, is disturbing.
Perhaps some emotional baggage IS rearing its ugly head?
men and women can certainly find common grounds of interests besides sexual attraction.

Absolutely.
I'm in my 40's and if I were single again I probably would date older men. I've seen the younger men and have decided that they're pretty boring. I have more in common intellectually with the 50- to 60-year olds than the 20-somethings. Always have.
Caveat: Unless I found THE unique ONE who shared my interests, hobbies and spiritual values. Then I might date/marry someone 15-20 years my junior. But, for now, I'm pretty happy with DH.
I was flipping channels a few months ago and caught an episode of Bringing Up Brady (or something like that) where Christopher Knight (someone my age) married this young hottie who was always whining or being melodramatic. And I have to admit: it made me throw up a little in my mouth. I felt so sorry for him because I couldn't see how he's ever going to grow old with this person he's investing so much time and energy into. I hope he's just doing that show for the money.
But, again, that's him. Not me or my life. Life is what you make it.
I don't understand why it's anyone's business who he dates. MYOB.
I always prefered men 10-20 years older than me. When my mom got remarried, I was 22 and my boyfriend at the time was older than my stepdad.
I always tease my DH that he's lucky he went prematurely gray because I would have never gone out with him if I'd have known he was only 3 years older than me.![]()

Not to mention more experienced, patient and loving. They place more value on pleasing the woman first before themselves. At least that was my experience before I met DH. Others may have different experiences. How do YOU know it is JUST for money? That makes YOU look like the fool...I LOVE older men! How can you sit there and judge these people unless they come up and say "hey look I got a young chick, she is just here for the money"? Maybe she has her own money. This post was just down right rude and judgemental! It sounds like something a person (not saying you) who got dumped for a younger would say.
My dh happens to be a year younger then I am but before him I dated a older man 12 yrs older and he was far from rich. I love that older men tend to be more mature and settled.Plus some of them are very HOT!!![]()
