I have so many questions. I have 1 Gig that I bought when I bought my camera but the more I think about it the more I think 8 day's in the world never been that's like 2 roll's of film a day so not going to be enough. So I think I will be looking at more on Ebay. Does any one have any suggestions or warnings before I start bidding? One other question cause I don't no much about the digital world,a trusted friend want's to barrow the card I have wile he visits the world I know I formatted my card when I got it but is it interchangeable like that. I don't want to risk damaging the card I all ready have. Thank's

Memory has become so cheep there is hardly the need for ebay deals.
WHat type of memory do you need?
try www.pricegrabber.com for deals
then be sure to check
www.resellerratings.com for store reviews before you send them any money.

Sharing a card should not have any problems other than possible physical damgage. Spilling soda on it etc... A completely different camera system may create unrecognizable file types or folders but a reformat will clear that up. Like pentax may not know what a canon cr2 file is... You can reformat in a computer to see more details like checking for bad sectors (does flash memorry have sectors?) then insert into the cam and do a camera reformat to double check everything.

With the prices of memory so low these days I would stick to a reputable store or online site. I just picked up another 'PRO Speed' 2 GB CF 50X from buy.com that is less than $50 after the rebates. Both Bestbuy and Circuit City are also running descent sales this week as well.

COSTCO online has some great deals right now...

I've used Buy.com for memory purchases -- good prices - fast shipping and prompt rebate checks.

I use pricegrabber and usually scroll down the list until I see a reputable store. The difference is usualy a small percentage.
