Since I am going solo and have no one to take photos of me with characters are there people at the characters meets that take pictures? Also what about at table meals that have characters? I will be going in Sept and would love to have my picture taken with some characters so I am seeing if memory maker is worth it

Hi,

I posted a bunch of memory maker information in another thread (about 2/3 of the way down the page) that should help answer some of your questions: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3278899&highlight=tptraveler&page=3 :)

I think pretty much all the characters will have a "handler" with them who will take photos with your camera or phone. There may be the rare exception, but everyone I met had a CM on hand who was happy to take photos - in fact, the vast majority of the time, if I had my camera or phone out when I reached the front of the line, the handler would offer to take pics before I even asked.

As for character meals, here is a great tip I learned from the Disboards: Ask the character if they know someone who can take your picture together. I went to Hollywood & Vine breakfast this year to meet the Disney Jr crew. Doc McStuffins was the first to come to my table and when I asked her if someone could take a pic of us, she found a nearby lady CM who was happy to oblige. (In fact, the same lovely CM was working up front not far from my table and came over on her own a couple more times to take pics when she saw the next character was heading my way.)

As a solo, I found that CMs were always happy to play photographer. I did go ahead and buy the Memory Maker, too; I probably would have been fine without it, but you can never have too many people taking pictures.
