M curious if anyone has input on the memory maker thing. I'm taking my son for the first time for his 5th bday in November and my first time back in over 10 years....do I have rights to print if I buy this? Any and all input is greatly appreciated TIA!!!

I was at wdw last month & used the memory maker, loved it! When all was said & done, in only 4 days at the parks, we had about 150 pics. I got home & downloaded them all to my computer & along with the picture download was the release to print the pictures for personal use. I used snapfish & shutter fly to print pics, so no release was needed, but I have been asked before when I've picked up at costco. Enjoy your trip!

I *loved* it personally. We had tons of pictures of our whole family. Nice pictures in the perfect picturesque spots. I am terribly bothered by pictures that are off center or too low or just don't look right and was pleasantly surprised by all of them. I printed them off through Walgreens and had no trouble

Thank you for that info!!!! I couldn't seem to understand fully how it worked, was confused by the 45 day expiring time etc...so thanks for the I put! Looks like I should add that to our trip!!!

I got it for our trip we did in February and loved it. I'm getting it again for our trip in September. We got a lot over 700 pictures for the 5 days that we were there. You get at least 4-5 for each character that you visit sometimes more depending on the photographer, the rides that offer photo ops, and in front of all the big landmark things of each park. You can look at your pictures every night on your MDE page. You have 45 days from the the start of your trip to review, edit and modify pictures in your account. After that, you can't get to your pictures anymore. I suggest finding all of your favorites and marking them as such and then make 5x7 and 8x10's of them and save them. The application modifies the picture to be that size which gives you a better quality when it's printed. You can add different stickers and borders as well. This ends up giving you even more pictures by the time you are done with all of the edits. Once you are done, you can choose to get a cd mailed to you or you can have them downloaded straight to your computer. You get the copyright with the pictures regardless of which method you use. Just make sure when you get them processed, to include the copyright with your pictures. Most places will ask for it. If they see it while they process it, you don't have to worry about making sure that you have a copy present with you.

I was debating if it was a good deal as well. Glad to see it is! If we have 5 people in my family does that mean I get the pictures for all five of us or do we have to buy 5 of them? Also if we are staying off resort is it still possible to get it? Thanks!

We used PhotoPass+ last summer before it became "MemoryMaker." As others have mentioned, we received 100s of quality photos and the "rights" to copy them and the "stock" photos that was sent in our packet. The way I understand MemoryMaker... every person linked within MDE & MagicBands are eligible for one MM account (within reason... less than 10 people and at the same park).

Loved it! If it weren't for Disney photographers, I'd never be in any photos :)

You are correct! Everyone linked goes on that account! I loved PhotoPass and now memory maker!

You buy 1 for your family. If you have other people going with you they can join in on your MM too. I've never done that ( our 1st ever trip is in 14 days!). My DBFFand her large group of people ( About 20) go in on one MM for everyone and split the cost. On their recent trip they had over 1,000 pictures.

Awesome thank you! Its just myself, my fiance and our kids I just wasn't sure if there was a per person charge. Definitely going to get it!!!

Ok, so there's 10 of us going and we can all share the same one? It's for all Disney parks and downtown disney?

YES! You just have to link your reservations. However, I don't think there are any Disney photographers Downtown. It is well worth it, especially with a big party!

No photographers in Downtown Disney (at least as of February) I asked as that was where we went on our very first (travel) day. I would assume you can link all 10 people, I linked a few things to our account. We had the old Photopass, so we had the card and then some pictures on our MagicBands, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and I do believe we got a code from one of our meals too.

Thanks for helping to inform me about MM.
My question is:
If we are not doing any character meals or plan on visiting the characters throughout the park is the MM still worth the money?
People are saying they get hundreds of photos, where are the photos taken?
Thanks!

You definitely have to make a little bit of an effort to get that many photos. I know sometimes we are in a hurry to get to rides at rope drop, so we rush past all the photographers standing on Main Street (or the main entrance of the other parks). But we make a point to go back late morning, or on our way out, etc. And we will stop at multiple photographers who are spaced 50 feet apart, as they shots are composed a little differently.

Another key, in my experience, is to let the photographer know you have MM. It seems like they will shoot extra shots, let you re-pose, etc. And don't forget to nicely ask if they have any magic shots! My kids LOVE those, and we got several last trip. We do get a lot of photos from character meets, but you can still get plenty, if you're willing to slow down and seek out the photographers. And don't forget the ride photos! We loved getting those this time around, and with a group of 10, you'll have the opportunity to get lots of them. :thumbsup2

Great perspective!
I guess I'll need to be sure all of our reservations are linked up so we will have all the photos.
This sounds like a no brainer!

Fro my and my family…yes!!! I love pictures in front of the amazing landmarks that WDW has to offer and unless you wrangle a stranger in each time to take it for you, one person is always left out of the shot. The photographers are all over the place and they usually take a couple, so you'll have plenty of shots. It just depends on what you are looking for - but for me, I'd never be in any pictures without Memory Maker because I'm always the one behind the lens!
