During character meets do the Photopass people automatically take pictures of each person, or do you need to give them your Photopass card first? We aren't buying MM - I don't have to actually DO anything in the parks other than keep track of any Photopass cards I get in order to be able to view all our PP pics once we're home, right?
The PhotoPass photographers take pictures of every person who meets the characters. They'll either give you a card if you don't already have one, or you can give them one that you have. All you have to do to view your pictures is enter the card numbers when you get home.
If you get photo pass instead of mm, can you still order the cd? That's what I've done the last two trips. I never buy the ride photos. What's the difference in prices for photo pass and mm?
PhotoPass is the picture taking service. If you're talking about the PhotoPass CD that you can pre-order, that's still available. (It's now called the PhotoPass Archive CD.) It's $119 versus $149 to pre-order MM.
