I bought it, and I know I won't get my $ worth out of pure photographs, I paid for the convenience. Just like many people do with the dining plan, I look through an eyepiece for a hobby, so the time spent at WDW being on the other side of the lens means I don't need to worry about it at all. So for me, the de-stressing is what I paid for.

you can actually purchase online and tie it to your magic band in the Disney App.

Also, I have seen some people talk about the not soo great photographers. Well, what we did was go Volume, Volume, Volume. If we saw a photo pass person, we got a picture. In 6 days we ended up with a few hundred pictures from the photo pass sessions and we got many very good pictures.
