So my fiance' and I are going to Disney World for our honeymoon in October and I was wondering if the memory maker is worth the extra money? I would love lots of pictures as memories but do you think the price is equal to it's value? What is your experience?

For my family of 5, it was very much worth it. Last year we spent 6 days at Disney and it was well worth it. We got some crummy pictures, but we also had many more awesome pictures of the entire family. We didn't have to find someone to take our picture, we just stopped at one of the spots and got some very good pictures.

Once we got home, we downloaded all the photos and actually edited some of them as well to add some of the special effects that we got using the Memory Maker tool. Added Disney 2015, and stuff like that to the pictures.

So for us, it was worth it. In comparison when my wife and I went to Disney in 2000 for our honeymoon, we have very few pictures of the entire stay. We had a camera, we just didn't take pictures. For the price, it was a nice piece of mind to know that we would have a ton of pictures without even needing to bring along a camera.

Yes yes yes yes!!!!! The value comes from stopping to get one taken every time you see my khaki vested friends. That's the key, bc it's really up to you in how many pics you end up with. We make it fun with all sorts of faces, poses, and especially magic shots. I kid you not, we came home last June with over 400 pics between our ride photos and the ones we stopped for. I loved them all. 3 of them were so good, I had them put on canvas for our wall. I'll never NOT add MM, or I'd end up paying a small mortgage buying them individually lol!

Totally. Includes ride pics and videos. Magic shots and no worries about finding someone to take your pics. We ended up with a couple hundred photos. We don't even do professional family photos anymore. We use our dis photos lol. Enjoy your honeymoon!

Yes, it is worth it, particularly on your honeymoon. Aside from you not having to worry about your camera, a great feature is the Disney-themed borders and signatures you can add to the photos. They help reduce the prominence of passerby in the park photos, and keep the focus on the two of you.

Question about the memory maker, if I didn't add it when I booked my package but wish to add it later (prior to the trip still), I can, correct? I can just call or modify my reservation online?

Yes. There is a timing thing on price. But you can add it during your stay if you wanted too. It just more expensive to add once you are there.

Totally worth it! We loved that whilst in the parks we hardly got our camera out! Love the magic shots, on the rides. There are lots of photo ops around we have some lovely memories. If you plan to go to WDW next year worth considering an Annual Pass as it's included. Also parking is included and lots of discounts. Then go slightly earlier next year the AP and memory make still good to go!

This has been asked so many times, there should be an official thread (maybe there is?) Opinions vary, many people think it's too much money and prefer to take pictures with their own camera and/or have a cast member use their camera.

I happen to think it is worth it. The quality of my photos have always been very good, I like the "magic" shots and the special borders available on the website. The ride videos are also a nice addition.

Very much worth it.

I am the camera person in my family and wouldn't be in any photos if it weren't for Memory Maker, lol!

We got it for the first time for our trip last October. In the past we thought it was a waste of money, but now are kicking ourselves for not having gotten it before. I can count on one hand the amount of pictures I'm in in past trips because I was the picture taker. Totally worth it, and I don't think we'll ever do another trip without it.
