Apparently it will just work automatically. Here is the conversation I just had with a CM:

Ryan: Hi Darilyn, I purchased a vacation package about a month ago that included free Memory Maker. What do I need to do to receive Memory Maker and make sure it is linked to my account online?

Darilyn Jenson: Next, click on MagicBands and Card.
Darilyn Jenson: You will then want to click on Link MagicBands and Cards.
Darilyn Jenson: From there, select MemoryMaker and then you can link MemoryMaker.
Ryan: No, I have not received anything pertaining to Memory Maker. I have no code, etc.
Darilyn Jenson: Let me check on this for you.
Ryan: I am wondering if I will get it in the mail, or possibly upon arrival, etc.
Ryan: It was a "Magic Your Way" package with free Memory Maker
Ryan: The vacation starts august 30th

Darilyn Jenson: I did check on this for you and Memory Maker should automatically be linked since it was apart of the vacation package.
Darilyn Jenson: You can check this by hovering over MyDisneyExperience in the upper right corner.
Darilyn Jenson: Next, click on My Reservations and Tickets and then click View Details.
Ryan: Memory Maker If you purchased Memory Maker, please help us link it to your account. Don't See Your Memory Maker Purchase? If you purchased Memory Maker and don't see it here, you may need to link it to your account.
Darilyn Jenson: Click View Details next to the resort picture.
Ryan: Yes there it does say "Disney's Pop Century Resort-Standard Room MYW Pkg w Mem Maker"
Ryan: I just find it odd that I still have the option to purchase Memory Maker and also the option to link Memory Maker to my account.
Darilyn Jenson: I completely understand.
Darilyn Jenson: I am going to check on this for you as well.
Ryan: Many people have this same question in forums like disboards.com, so if I get any helpful info then I will spread it.

Darilyn Jenson: Since the option link won't your account, it's just part of your account. You will only the option to manually link if you decide to purchase the Memory Maker separately. Like on your next trip to visit us.
Ryan: Ok, so when I get my first picture taken, it will just automatically work?

Ryan: I never will get a code that I have to link?
Darilyn Jenson: Correct.
Darilyn Jenson: Everything has been linked and you are good to go. You won't need a code.

Ryan: If it works like that then that's great and the most effortless way to handle a free Memory Maker package. I'm sure it won't reach the hands of someone that can modify the website, but I'd like to suggest that the website should inform people within their account that Memory Maker is successfully linked. A lot of people would prefer to know that it's in order before they get to their first park, without having to wonder if it's going to work or not.
