Hello all!

Thinking about purchasing the memory maker for an upcoming trip for 8 days in sept. 7 day hopper with water fun with 6 people in our party. We have ADR for tusker and chef Mickey and we are huge on all the rides so we usually will go on all the ones with photos at least twice each trip.

My questions:

Is it worth the money?

I have 6 people in my party can it be linked to every magic band?

Does it matter we are staying in our condo we own instead of on property?

Is there a list of the attractions and dining locations that do accept the memory maker?

With memory maker you just can download each and every picture you take on to your phone and or computer with no problems?

Is there a photo limit?

When to purchase for the advanced price if I will be in the parks September 13th for my first day?

Thank you so so so so much in advance!!

Is it worth the money?
Yes, at least for my family it is. Aside from rides, we also did a LOT of character meets, special experiences (like PL and BBB), character dining, and we stopped once or twice a day for additional photos when we saw a photog.

It is not on an actual band. MM is the entitlement to download the photos. Each time a band is scanned or read at a ride, the photo will be put into the account. As long as everyone is either on your account or linked to your account as friends and family, all of the pictures should show up in your account.

No.

I'm sure there is, but I don't know where. I know the pictures taken before the meals at Tusker House and Chef Mickey's will be added. They do NOT have photographers walking around with the characters at the meals (the exception is Stitch at 'Ohana's breakfast). I also know they have pictures at Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Test Track, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, TOT and RNR (may have missed some, but that is what I remember for sure).

Should be able to. I have downloaded well over 1,000 photos so far with no issue.

Is there a photo limit?
Not that I have found, and I had about 2,000 photos in my account at one time.

You have to purchase AT LEAST 3 days in advance for all of the pictures to be inclueded for the advance price.

Everything above looks good, but I wanted to add the dining locations that have photopass:

Chef Mickey's, Ohana (breakfast only - I don't think the comment above about Stitch is true), Spirit of Aloha dinner show, 1900 Park Fare, Hoop De Doo Revue, and Tusker House. They also take pictures at Cinderella's Royal Table and Askerhuse (spelling?) in Norway but dinner comes with the photo package. There are also photographers at both Bippiddi Boppiddi Boutique locations.

Just make sure to get lots of photos in the parks. My guide is to stop at least three times at icon locations - once with the main icon in the daylight, once at night, and once with a secondary icon (ex. Everest at Animal Kingdom, Tower of Terror at Studios). You will also get a ton of photos if you see characters and really interact with them.

Thank you very much for your answers! we are definitely going to stop at all the photo pass locations night and day because we have 7 days for just doing that! thank you again!!!

Ohana (breakfast only - I don't think the comment above about Stitch is true),

We had breakfast there on Saturday and there was definitely a PP photographer walking around with Stitch. There were 2 PP photogs in the restaurant. Stitch's handler came over before Stitch and suggested what side of the table we should be on to get the best picture (without the outside light causing issues). I don't know if that happens all of the time, but we have pictures from our table in our PP account from then.

With the ongoing construction at the poly, the dining photo at ohana breakfast is now with stitch at the tables. It's the only restaurant that has a photographer with a character.

Ahhhhh that makes a lot of sense. I know about a year ago they were doing tests with having a photographer follow Goofy through Cape May Cafe during their character breakfast. Personally, I thought the photos came out nice and would probably sell well but I guess the higher-ups didn't want to do it. I guess when the construction finishes up and people can actually walk around the Poly lobby they will switch back to the regular backdrop.

It was the servers actually :P got in their way and it was like a bull in a china shop. But mostly safety concerns with hot plates etc etc.

Didn't even think about that but it is so true. I could see it happening in Chef Mickeys since it was designed as a character dining location and the table floorplan is actually nicely designed. However, 1900 Park Fare is a nightmare to walk around, especially during dinner with Cinderella's huge dress.
