Memory Maker-still can't decide

Does anyone know how many rides have photos? I always like those if there are enough that might make it worth it for my trip.

Eight rides have photos:

Splash Mountain
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Test Track
Tower of Terror
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Expedition Everest
Dinosaur

OP here. We will be there 8 days/ 9 nights.
We have never bought any ride photos, as I never had the patience to sit and look at them in the gift shop. I guess now there would not be a need too. I could look at them from my resort room.

I know there a plenty of photographers at MK. What about the other parks? I really don't remember from my trip last year. My only other concern that I mentioned is the rain. Do the photographers stay out in the rain? We plan on doing EMH at MK one night, late, like until 2am. Are they out until then? Would love to get pictures in front of a lit castle at night.

We found plenty of photographers at the other parks. Got a really cute shot from one outside Star Tours on the... Whatever you call the bike thingie, and he gave my son a prop to hold- adorable! And it wasn't even a star wars weekend day.

They did seem to all disappear during the rain. And actually once a character stayed out as it started to rain, but the photographer was already gone.

Don't know how late they stay out- we didn't stay up late enough to find out!

We (party of 9) just got back from a 6-day/7-night trip with only 4 actual park days and 1 water park day. We had over 250 photos in our MM account when we were done. Completely worth it to us! We still took our own photos, but it was so nice knowing we did not have to! The character meet and greets and ride photos were worth the price alone. We did not have magic bands (stayed at SOG), so we had to go up to the photo counter to use out card to download ride photos, but it was still super simple.

Highly recommend!

My family is likely only to go on 2-3 of these and won't be doing meet and greets. Still worth it?

Jessica-250 pictures on a 6 day trip is a lot of pictures!! That would definitely be worth it!!

Of the 8 rides that have photo ability, the kids and/or I (but really the kids), will go on 7 of them.

I am just going to book it. I will do it right now since my trip is Saturday and our Chef Mickey dinner is Sat night and I want those pictures in my MM pictures.

So here is my next question...
once I buy MM, how do I view my pictures? I am sure the kids will want to see the pictures during the week as the trip progresses.

Thank you for all your replies in helping me make this decision. :)

Super easy. Just log into your MDE account, scroll down, and you should have a link to view photos. Just make sure you verify your MM has linked.

I just bought it! What the heck, right? Don't know if we are going back next year as DD will be graduating high school and DS is going to Europe with the band, so this may be our last trip for awhile.

I did have some questions, so I called Disney, and spoke to a very nice CM who was able to answer all my questions. The biggest concern I had was if the pictures from our dinner on Sat night would be on MM. Yes, since I bought it today.

The girls are in drill team in their high school so are very used to having their pictures taken. They can hold a smile for a very long time! Now that I am thinking about it, I really think this may be a very wise purchase. I can only imagine how many pictures the girls will take! Poor DS!! He is not the picture taking type. Maybe I can get him to take one or two...

Thanks again for all your help!! I will have to let you all know how many pictures we end up with!
