Memory Maker Share How To Question

I have searched and am finding conflicting info so wanted to see if I am doing this correctly.

Family 1 (me) - Owns MM

Family 2 (my husband) we are linked as family and both have our settings set so we can view and purchase each others photos. We are good hear no issues that I am seeing.

Family 3 (Wife, husband and child) - All three under one MDE account that wife manages. We have linked as family/friends. With the wife it says we are set that we can view and purchase each others photos so I know anything that is taken and scanned with her band will be fine. Now here is where I am unsure. Her husband and daughter show up under my family/friends but next to them it says :
Tim cannot view your plans or photos.

When I click on their name to edit all I get is an option to delete them and not the option to share pictures. Since they are both managed by the wife will their pictures show up in her MDE account and then since we are set up to share will they then still show in our memory maker?

Yes their pictures will show up in her MDE account if she manages her husband and childs. If you share your pics with her and vice-versa hers (and her family) pics will show up in your account as well. Your settings sound right but if you have any concerns call the MDE hotline and confirm. Have a great trip.

That is correct. Only MDE account holders can view or edit photos.
That has nothing to do with who's band will scan and add photos to the MDE account that purchased MM
If the name appears on the person who purchased MM friend and family list then photos taken when their bands are scanned will appear

One more question. If the wife manages the husbands and childs account (they do not have MDE account of their own) do I have to link them as friends to get their pictures. Can I just link the wife who owns the MDE account and all their pictures will show up in my memory maker? I am asking because I am now seeing all of the husbands and and childs reservations including their fast passes. I just don't want to mess up and change something of theirs by mistake.

I believe the answer to this question is yes, you do have to have them all on your friends list.

Last year, my father in law purchased memory maker. I manage myself and my wife, and only I was added to his friends list... Only pictures taken with my band showed up in Memory Maker, and we ended up losing a couple great shots that were scanned on my wife's band.
