Memory Maker Questions

We have used Memory Maker twice now. One in January and once during Easter. On our Easter trip there were a total of 8 of us in our party in two rooms. We were all attached in MDE and all of us used our magic bands at various times to add ride photos and other PP photos. On my account since I am the primary I was able to see all of the photos taken with anyone's Magic Bank. My sister and brother-in-law can only see the pictures on MDE that were added to their bands and the same with my mother and husband. I will also be the only person to be able to download them but I can easily download.

We are going again on Memorial Day Weekend and I am waiting to download our pictures in hopes of using us again since the 30 day window starts after you complete your first download.


I saw that one person had some success with two trips and one MM but I wondered if anyone else has?

Well this is even better if the ride photos are loading to anyone's MagicBand. Were all of the people getting ride photos in the same room? I don't know if having separate room reservations makes any difference.

No, we were not. My parents and I were in two separate DVC reservations and my SIL and Brother were in a Cash room at Jambo.

That was me and yes!! However, each picture expires 45 days after it was taken. So if your Memorial Day trip will be outside that 45 days, you will have to purchase a one time extension for 15 days more. Which brings the expiration to 60 days out. You can't extend it past 60 days.

So whereas if you don't download any pics your 30 days for MM doesn't start till you do.... You still have to stay within the 45/60 day expiration of the photos.

Just wanted to confirm that all photos from attractions, character meals and parks are showing up on MM when any of the people on my family/friends list uses a magic band, and we are in 2 separate rooms. Couldn't be easier.

If I am the primary MM account holder and another member of our party gets there before us by a couple of days, will she still she still be able to be a part of our MM group if I haven't activated my band yet?

Our MagicBands did not need to be activated after we got here. They were ready to go.
