Memory Maker question

I've just purchased Memory Maker for our upcoming family reunion. It's on my MDE account, and shows me as the one in charge of the account.

Do I have to do anything to link the other 2 families onto the account? I'm having some trouble linking everyone-- as of right now, 9 of the 11 of us are linked to my account. But everyone is linked to my adult niece; if I have to, I can simply switch ownership of the MM account to her.

You will need to link everyone to your account for MM to work. Have you tried calling to see if they can link them for you?

One caveat that has come up with MM is the inability for anyone but the owner to have ride pictures attached. The ride photos automatically are added to your account via your MB. They have long range sensors or something. So if your niece is on a ride and you aren't, the ride pics will not be added to the account.

This seems to be a new problem just coming up, so possibly do a search to see if anyone has figured out a way around it.

She's 30 and pretty good with rides; I think I'll transfer it to her. Everyone is on her account, and it sounds like the easiest approach.

Please keep your fingers crossed for my son. Today is the Algebra II and Trig Regents, and the only one of the 3 he has to take that has us worried. Oh, and did I mention that it's his birthday???

Fingers crossed!! I'm already praying that I don't get a phone call tomorrow between 11&12 regarding 7th grade history! I'll add your son to that list! These tests are so stressful when it's not their strong subjects!

I was the owner of our MM and I still had to scan my band after every ride. And wait in line...

DS was able to scan his band in my place at Splash since he enjoyed the process more than I did. So everyone should be able to add ride pictures if they scan their bands that are linked.

When was your trip? Latest reports are saying they are "shooing away" people with MM and MBs. I think the difference is also when you are trying to link up with people with other reservations, as would be Alice's families case. Make sure that everyone can "see" each other. Each person should go into their Friends & Family settings and make sure that every other person who is going to share the Memory Maker is set to "can view and purchase your PhotoPass photos." I did this in March and had my husband, son, and brother's family all on our Memory Maker. Some of us couldn't see the pictures until that setting was set for every other person on each of the accounts. Once we did that, we all could see all of the pictures.

We have been working on this for months, and it's starting to cause some serious stress.

I'm still missing 2 people from my MDE account.

So as long as my niece is in the position to take over the MM account, I've named her as the go-to person.

Everyone has to see everyone. It's weird. I could see everyone. But my SIL and my son had not changed their settings so they could see each other so for each of them, the pictures they could not see were the other person's pictures, until they both changed their settings.

My daughter and I were there Memorial Day weekend and we had to use the band to put our pictures on but we had a big family trip last week and when I went in to look at our pics all of the ride pics were automatically added.

Ride pics are not a big deal to me so this past trip with so many of us we didn't bother with trying to add them to the account but like I said they were there when I logged in after the trip.

Apparently they have the ability to pick up your band and add it for you which I think is just another reason to love MBs.

April. Going to read the other thread now. Because I'm not going back on some of those rides again. That is why I'm bringing my husband!
