Memory Maker question

Once you download all your pictures, can you print them yourself, like at Walgreens? Or is it like Photopass where you order prints through Disney.

If I just order the Photo pass CD do I still get to pick boarders etc? Or is that now only an option for the memory maker?

I am getting lost between the 2, I really want a hard copy so I do not lose the pictures in the future

While you’re online, it’s easy to customize your photos with a variety of unique Disney borders and graphics to create the perfect vacation memento.

So, it looks like you can still do the borders/signatures/etc with the Photopass.

If you choose Memory Maker, you can download your photos, burn them to cd (or dvd), print them, back them up to an external hard drive, put them on Facebook, store them in "the cloud"...

You can do the same things with the images on a Photopass cd.

I actually prefer to download them myself - my last trip, Photopass sent me a faulty cd, and I lost the photos that should have been on that disc. I was pretty disappointed. If I'd downloaded the images all myself, it would have taken some time, sure... but I would have been certain that all the files downloaded correctly, and nothing would have been lost! So I'll go with Memory Maker on our next trip. But if you prefer to receive your photos on cd and not have to handle the download? And if you won't have ride/special character meal photos that you'd have to be separately? Save a few bucks and go with PhotoPass.
