Memory Maker photos for two families

So, apparently, I really should have read the fine print on Memory Maker. My cousin and I took a ton of pictures on our account, but the "entitlement" is on my account. She's done editing her family's photos, but is there any way I can see/download her photo edits?

No. She will have to do the edits in your account.

Your accounts must be linked together as family and friends. There is a place to check that you want family and friends to be able to view your photos. You can both view and edit all pics, but only you will be able to download. A friend and I just did this in May.

Edits must be done in the memory maker account. There is no way to transfer edits to another account.

As others have said, and as I learned to my detriment in March, any edits done outside the MM holder's account can only be downloaded (at a cost) by the person who has done them. For them to be downloaded for free, the edits need to be done in the MM holder's account.

Can someone explain further please? So I have a MM. My family and my brothers family are all linked as Family and friends in MDE. we can make FP+ res! and all that good stuff for each other. Each persons profile says they can view and edit my pictures. So what happens next? Can we each use our MB to get pics onto MM account or does it have to be my band only? Also, if my brother edits a picture on his linked account, are we saying that I can't then download that picture? Will I need to have each person log into my personal MDE account to view and edit pictures in order to keep edits for free?

Yes, you will all be able to use your MagicBands in order to have pictures added to your MM account, however when it comes to editing, only the pictures edited in the main MM holder's account (so, presumably yours?) will be available for free download. Pictures will be viewable and editable in your friends/family members' accounts, however in order to download those edited pictures, they would have to pay. So, yes, if they wish to have edited pictures included in the free download, they would need to log in to your MDE account to edit them.

So my niece is the account holder-- for some reason, she's the only one who can see the names of all 11 of us in her Friends and Family account.

We each do our own editing, but she downloads all the photos, and emails them to us... or prints up a copy of the CD for each family?

The reason your niece can see everybody but you can't see each other, I suspect, is because you are all linked to your niece but not necessarily to each other. That, in itself, won't matter if your niece is going to be making all the FP+ reservations (or you will be making your own).

However, if you want all the edited photos to be available for your niece to download, they will have to be edited in her account. Any edits made by other
members of the group will not be available in the 'master' account (ie. your niece's) where the free download has to be done from. Once she has downloaded all the pictures, she can either write to CD or Email them to you (although they are large files so CD would be better).

OK, thanks. So apparently we'll do fewer edits than in the past. She's 30 and has a full time job, so I'm not going to ask her to do lots of cutesy borders. I'll just be conscious to get more photos taken.

She did all the FPs, since linking everyone is apparently a battle we are not going to win at this point. As long as SOMEONE can take care of everything, we're good.
