Memory Maker // PhotoPass + - Is It Worth It?!

When we went two years ago we got 3 cds full of photos! They were great too! if you do BBB make sure to go to the little shop and do the photo shoot! Its free and you can put it on the pass.

We took the pictures and made Shutterfly photo books (the free 8x8 ones you can get) and gave them to everyone for Christmas. They loved them!

Silly question to add on but does everything automatically get tagged to your memory maker account or do I have to always tap my magicband at the end of each ride?

We added MM onto our account and I love the idea of it, I am just worried we will end up having missing photos.

I love this package - we always used to by 4-5 ride photos and a couple of the group photos - this way I get all of them. I can choose to print them at my local store (e.g., Walgreens) if I want or just use them in my photo books that I create each year. We normally take a 9-10 day trip, but we're going next week for only 5 days and still did the pre-purchase. It will be our first time getting the videos too - very excited.

The rides automatically pick up the signal so you don't have to do anything. It's so nice.
Yes, it's expensive. But, if you plan to buy more than 10 photos, you're better off buying the MM. I'm going in May, with my 22 y/o dd and her best friend (they haven't seen each other for two years!!) and another good friend who is doing the DCP will be joining us at times. So, I have bought the MM...I figure that I don't have to be there with them, 24/7, to take group photos of them. They can get as many as they like, without worrying about cost.

We love the Memory Maker package. We never would purchase pictures individually, but we like to be able to get them all digitally. I can see how it might be too much money to spend if you are only spending a few days, but for a week-long trip I think the Memory Maker package is totally worth it. The biggest plus for me is having ALL of our family in the pictures, not just a few at a time. Sure, you can ask strangers to take pictures of you but it's always kind of a hassle to do that and you never know how good of a photographer they will be. Also, you can ask the photographers if they do "Magic Shots" and they will have your family pose and later "animate" in an additional character. If you do the Magic Kingdom events during the holidays they have special magic shots. For example, for the MNSSHP there were photos next to the Haunted Mansion and I think they animated in the hitchhiking ghosts.

It was 100% worth it for us. It took the onus of creating all the photo memories off us and enabled us to enjoy ourselves. We'd never have gotten as good a pics as with our little cameras... but we're not great photogs either. I agree with those who say it'd cost more to buy the ride pics than this whole package of the entire trip. A+++. I just hope Disney doesn't realize how good a deal this really is, because surely they will up the price. I'm serious.

Yes, photogs were at Blizzard Beach. They're terrific.

If I purchase it (I have 3 people on my account) are all three of our bands automatically connected? Also, how can I connect my DD and her husband's 2 bands (they are on a different account) tia

Bump I think all of our pictures were uploaded onto our account, but not confident. And, I was in all of them because we stay together. I'd also like to know how to ensure all in party are linked to the memory maker account.
