We are traveling with another party in April and want to share the Memory Maker. I have sent a request to link our accts together thru MDE. Do I need to link everyone in their party to MDE or just the main person?

If there is something else I am missing, please let me know.

You must make sure each person in both parties has set sharing on with the person who purchased Memory Maker.
This is done under "My Family & Friends List", select the person with Memory Maker and enable it for full access. When done it should say "XXXXX can view and purchase your PhotoPass photos."

Then keep track of what you expect to see... and have each person look through the pictures in their account and verify that the Memory Maker person can see all of them. We had a terrible time with pictures stranded and not visible to the Memory Maker person and it took almost an hour with support to get all the pictures visible.

Also many ride pictures that should have been visible to each person who rode were visible only to one person or fewer than the full group. No way to fix that afterward, so cross your fingers. Hopefully it's getting better since September.

I have a similar issue. We are going with extended family in a couple of weeks. One family member started a new MDE and she put nine people in her account and took care of adding their tickets. I already had an account and linked all those people to mine since I was booking all of the FP+ for the week. I purchased MM this week.

Only the family member that set up the other account shows up as able to view my plans, pictures, etc.. If I click on anyone else in my family/friends list outside my immediate family to edit it just gives me the choice to delete them but not give them any more access. :confused3 Is she able to edit each person to give them access to my plans and pictures?

Thank you.

Does only one person in the party show as having Memory Maker? We are a party of four, but only my reservation shows as having Memory Maker. I'm want to be sure it captures my whole family's photos through their bands, too.m how do I ensure that?

Interested to know this info too. We will be going with another family in Aug.

Memory Maker gets linked to one person's MDE account - only that person can do the ordering for the memory maker deal. Yes, each person or whoever controls each person must modify every party member to make photos visible to the memory maker person. It does work... if you get through it and maybe call for help afterward if you see issues!

To be clear, Memory Maker does not capture anything. Each person's band captures ride photos and photographer pictures. So Only the memory maker person can place the order. So each person must share their pictures to the memory maker person, so that person can see all the pictures, and include them on the download/order for memory maker.

Feeling dense, but I still do not get it. So, it is "my" memory maker. How do I ensure my husband and children's magic bands are attached to it and that their photos show in the account? I went to the "friends and family" link, but of course cannot add my children there. Also, does my husband have to set up a MDE account to link him into Memory Maker? Thanks!

I feel your pain, really I do. I will try again. each person with an MDE account must set to share with you. You don't need to share with yourself. If your kids' tickets/bands are managed in your account you are all set for them. If your husband's ticket/band is managed in your account you are all set for him. Anyone ELSE with their own MDE account, managing their own ticket/band, must set you as a friend and share with you. Two families wanting to share is more complicated than your single family scenario!
