Memory Maker: How Much Time Does it Take Up?

My fiancee and I are going (just ourselves so no children), and I was wondering how much time getting pictures taken will really take. I've never really paid attention to the disney photo people at all, so I don't know if it's usually just a quick one-and-done situation or they take multiple shots and multiple angles and whatnot. Once you request a picture to be taken, it usually takes between 10 and 20 seconds for the photographer to snap off 2 to 3 shots. Very rarely you might be asked to pose or to use a prop that takes an additional 10 to 20 seconds. The only time it "takes time" is if you wait in line for the photo opportunity. The majority of the time you can just "walk up" to a photographer for your picture.

We use props and magic shots. Two minutes max. Really worth it.

It can take as little or as much time as you want it to. As a rule, they will take 3ish pictures minimum. Two that are full body or 3/4 body, and then one close up. If you are able to listen to directions and stand where they tell you to, you can be done in a minute from "Next!" to finishing scanning your magic band. But if they take extra pictures, do any magic shots, or have problems scanning your band, it could take them a few minutes. We've actually spent 10-15 minutes with some photographers, between asking them to take extra poses (many will gladly do so if you ask), and just talking (some are really happy to be at WDW and in a role where they can interact with guests that they will tell you their life story if you let them).

It will take very little time. The real time consumer is editing the pics after your trip! Enjoy!
