Memory Maker for two trips

I'm looking to purchase Memory Maker for an upcoming trip and my brother-in-law is going to Disney about 5 weeks after we go. Can we use one Memory Maker for both of us?

Also since the trips are nearly 45 days apart that leaves very little time for editing/adding borders to the second set of photos before the first set starts expiring. I found the following FAQ on Disney's site, but can't quite interpret it. I'm thinking that if I delay downloading my pictures, I can extend the timeline a bit. But, I don't know what "otherwise redeem your Memory Maker" means. Anyone have any idea what that means?

You can begin capturing photos as soon as you purchase Memory Maker. Once you download the first photo—or otherwise redeem your Memory Maker purchase—you then have 30 days to capture more photos. Please remember to download your photos before they expire.


Any advice on using Memory Maker for two trips would be most appreciated!

From what I understand the photos are good for 45 days after they are taken. MM entitles you to 30 days of downloads. Therfore, if you start downloads on day 45, you would be able to take and download pictures for the next 30 days. This is how I understand it (after talking to tech support) and intend to use it.

Thank you so much! Your explanation is so much clearer than the Disney FAQ. And it looks like this should work to squeeze in two trips.

Now I've just got to get everyone linked in to MDE properly, and I think I found the directions for that in a different thread.

I have a trip August 20-24th, then a second trip Sept 8-19th

Can I use one Memory Maker pre order for both of these trips?

From what's said above I can physically download the pictures from the August trip on say, August 25th TO MY COMPUTER, and then still have until Sept 25th to get all the other pictures edited & downloaded?

you will have to start the download as soon as you come home from your second trip. the pictures taken on august 20th will start deleting.


I dont understand the 45 day thing-- because ours deleted at 30. (maybe because we downloaded them
