Memory Maker downloads...post trip

I bought the memory maker several weeks before out trip. They took about 75 pics on our trip. I got home today to view them however when I try to download the pics it says I have to pay $14.99.

I already bought the memory maker way before my trip. Do I have to pay this fee again. I just want my pics

I had the same problem. After at least 3 hours on the phone they were able to do something that will allow me to download all of the pictures at once. It seems the memory maker wasn't assigned to anyone.. Not sure why that happened but good luck trying to find the right people to talk to. It was someone in photo pass department that finally helped me.

At some point your memory maker entitlement was most likely assigned to the wrong person. How did you purchase memory maker?

Thank you. They close at 6pm eastern. I'm in central time and won't be home in time to call them.

Anyone else found a way around this problem? I just don't want the $150 to go to waste.

I purchased it online. It is assigned to me though.

Try logging in the mydisneyexperience and going to my reservations. Memory maker might show up at the bottom there along with a link that says view PhotoPass photos. Sometimes clicking that will bring the entitlement on over with you.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. On the phone with Disney now. I'm also kinda disappointed in MM. There did not seem to be enough photographers, we were there 5 days and I only have 140 pictures, because EVERY DAY with EVERY PARK i was having to track down photographers. At one point in DHS I had to wait 15 minutes while a CM went to investigate why there was NO photographer on the main entrance (no one taking pics in front of the hat) and all they told me was apparently he had wondered off. By the time he was done taking my picture (which seems to be blurry, but will have to wait to see, when i can blow it up) there were 20 people waiting to get a pic, who all said they were relieved to finally find a photo-pass photographer. (this was friday the 14th)

And the Magic photo?? Yea, my 10 year old photoshops better than that. We only have 1, and all they did was put in a BAD jpg of tinkerbelle.

The only good thing about it is, we have some photos with the whole family. Several photos are blurry, too dark or heads cut off though, probably only have about 10 I can use. Not worth 150.00.

Now I'm worried, just added MM to our trip last week. I thought it would be nice to not have to worry about who was going to be left out of the photo...

I don't know if this is helpful but...

when we got home to download the pictures that were scanned on my band were able to be download without a problem. (I was assigned at the lead person on the account.) but the pictures that were scanned in my DH band were under his account and wanted us to pay to download. He called and they were able to put the 20 something photos from his onto mine with very little problem.

He also called like 8pm eastern time so I'm not sure where you got the 6pm time.

Also we were very happy with MM we had 200 ish photos after 8 days. We would have had more if it wasn't raining so much and we got ALL the ride photos. But we never had a problem finding someone to take a picture. In fact most time there were 3-4 photographers standing there just waiting for someone.

Now I'm worried, just added MM to our trip last week. I thought it would be nice to not have to worry about who was going to be left out of the photo...

I know negative responses will make you squeamish, but our MM experience has been top notch. We came home with nearly 300 photos, and all of them were expertly taken. The download process was smooth as it could be, and we were still able to add all sorts of borders, dates, etc. before downloading.

In addition, we ended up with so many ride photos that those alone more than paid for the price of Memory Maker. Plus our Cindy's Table pictures were included, as well, and we were still given our "print" versions of them at our table.

Just wanted to add my experience to maybe ease your worries.

You can add your magic band number onto the Photopass website just like the photopass cards. I would think this would help to find the photos taken on that magic band.

Has anyone tried this? Just curious if it works that way.

It finally worked! I got the download.

Some photos are missing though! I've emailed disney. Haven't heard back yet.

You're right about there not being enough photographers. They should have them all over the parks. We only saw two at epcot!

I do think it was worth it so we have some pictures where one of us isn't just stretching out our arm to take it.

We only got one magic photo in front of Erics castle Sebastian is in my hand, I can't lie. It's pretty cool.

Sebastian is one of the rarer ones. Outside of tinkerbell and balloons, the butterfly shot at Epcot, the Sebastian one in studios or mk (in front of the little mermaid for both parks) and chip in front of beauty and the beast. There's a frog one that's rarer as well and of course the hitchiking ghosts during the Halloween parties.

Most of the time it's hard to walk down the Main Street of any of the parks without tripping over three photographers.

After I assigned the photos to my magic band, I logged out and when I went back in the next day it allowed me too. I'm thinking the logging out is what helped.
