Memory Maker Confusion

I purchased Memory Maker months ago for my upcoming trip (in 4 days). There is a clause which says there's a restriction that any pictures taken within 3 days of purchase will not be included. Does that have anything to do with when it is activated? Do I wait until vacation to activate? Will the 3 day restriction apply? The wording is so confusing.

The 3 day restriction is only from the actual date of purchase for those who purchase it within 3 days of their trip. You won't have a problem!

Thanks! That's what I thought, but the wording was a bit of a worry. I have not activated it yet, so I wasn't sure if we'd lose the first 3 days of our vacation, lol. Do you suggest we activate now or wait until Friday? Tying up last minute details.

I don't recall having to activate anything. My photos appeared in my account as soon as they were taken.

The only thing you need to do is "link" it to mde.. If you purchased it on the website it should have been done automatically....if not then plug your confirmation number or scan the plastic card they mailed you.

Sorry to hijack...

I bought Memory Maker over the phone. But, it never showed up in MDE. The COST showed up in my package and I paid for it. It does show though on my Mickey Mail booklet that shows all my ressies, so I figured no issue...

But, I never received a plastic card in the mail so I have nothing to link to my MDE.

Think I should call? I wasn't concerned since it clearly stated it on my booklet.

Never hurts to call and ask. Especially with disney.

If anybody else in your party also has their own MDE accounts you have to manually give them permission to add photos to MM. You can check this by clicking on "edit" to the right of their name on your "my family and friends" list.
