Memory Maker; Can you help me decide?

We've never purchased Memory Maker before; We always hand the photographers our camera, and they are happy to take the same pix, and honestly, since we have good cameras, the quality is nice, too. On the DCL ships, I always did in the past purchase their prints, since they were of beautiful quality. My question is this: If we purchase Memory Maker, we only get the images to save and download, is that correct? Last trip, I had several photo pass photos printed out at the camera center in Epcot, and they were not really very good prints at all. Obviously, if we don't purchase Memory Maker, we couldn't get the fun pix on rides or videos (although I still "screenshotted" every one with the water mark onto my phone!). So, I guess my question is, if we purchase Memory Maker, we do not receive any prints, but we could still have those printed out at the park, is that correct? Is there a way to find prices, bc I do not recall what I paid for prints. And if we purchased Memory Maker, we only get downloads, no free prints (are there packages to purchase prints)? Thank you in advance!

1. My question is this: If we purchase Memory Maker, we only get the images to save and download, is that correct?

1. Correct.

2. Not true, except I think for SDMT. (All the other rides offer the pictures for sale at the end of the ride.)

3. Yes, but it's a lot more expensive than doing it at Walmart or Target or Walgreens or through some online service like Snapfish. Buying the pictures from Disney costs about $15 a piece.

4. Correct, but like I said, you can get them printed yourself.

Thanks so much (I wasn't even thinking you could buy the pix at the end of the rides!). Yes, I do print out from Shutterfly and Snapfish (actually, I make photo books). But the quality still isn't fantastic. On the DCL ships, I know things have changed, but the quality of the photos from the three trips we took from 2012-2014 were phenomenal. Thank you again!
