Memory Maker Basics ?

I've read the description on MDE/disney.com, etc. but was curious what the DISers thoughts were on Memory Maker. And quite honestly, the explanations and tips on here on much better than the general info I get elsewhere.

I purchased the package tonight and we will be at WDW next week starting on Wednesday...

1. How does it work ? Can I approach any photo pass photographer on property and just ask them to take pictures of us in front of the castle, during character meet and greets, etc. ? Are they wearing anything in particular that identifies them as PP photographers ? Do they need to scan my Magic Band to verify I have memory maker and link those photos to my account ?
2. How can I share the photos with friends and family members ? Do they have to have MDE account ? Will I actually own the pictures so I can download them onto a thumb drive for my usage (putting on Facebook later, etc.)

Yes you can go u l to any photopass photographer and ask for pics to be b taken they will scan yout magic band afterwards
I have notired they are adding extra pics to your account
ie when we had pics by flower and garden stuff they put the professional pics of the topiary in there too

you will have a limited license for the pics basicly you just can't make money off of them
you save them burn them to discs email them post them on Facebook forums or where ever you want
we will be sending a bunch to Walgreens to be printed

In fact we went in ton o ne n of the shops my fiance wanted to print some pics to mail home from here of me proposing in front of Mickey and the cm said why waist your mone send them to Walgreens and pay like 2 bucks vrs 20 bucks

they have a vest on and are holding fancy cameras


With the extra pics they add we have right around 400 pics
but then again I handed a note off about proposing and they took like 30 pics there and with the buttons on they are taking pics of us kissing and the ring
