Memory Maker and No Magic Band?

I am planning to buy Memory Maker, but I am staying at Shades of Green. Therefore, I will not have a magic band. How does it work with no mb? I am thinking of buying three when we get there since we will have 8 park days and it may just be easier!

I posted about this yesterday but no reply. Best I can tell you us that it appears you get a RFID card to scan for memory maker. We are going with family but don't need to buy memory maker twice, so wondering if I can get another RFID card for Mm so when separating we can all get MM pics. (other girls to princesses us to rides)

Memory maker uses the RFID chip embedded in your Magic Band and/or Park Media aka park ticket.

The last two times I got MM, I got a plastic card in the mail. While I used my MB the whole time, I'm pretty sure I could have used the card instead.
