Memory maker and group Christmas card photos

Traveling with DH, DD, DSIL, and my darling 2 grandsons. It's a surprise trip for the children for which I have been saving for two years. So, I've made matching shirts, hoping to wear santa hats/santa ears, and have a group picture taken to be used on Christmas cards. I am asking for good photo spots where there will be photographers, since I'm purchasing memory maker. Also, by when do I have to pay for it. I just made the final payment on the package yesterday Thanks.

Good photo spots is a loaded question. When are you going? During the holiday season you can usually find them around a fair amount of the larger holiday decor, including the trees at AKL, WL, and the GF. Sometimes you can even find then over by the snowmen outside the Christmas store at Disney Springs. But there are lots of other good spots. In front of the castle is always a classic, or you can find them by the bridge leading to France so you get the Eiffel tower in the background. Really depends on what type of picture you want.

My advice: take a group photo in several different spots the day you wear your outfits. The one you picture in your head as your Christmas card pic may not end up being "the one." Last year when we went to Alaska, I fully intended our picture with Denali in the background would go on our card. Well, about an hour before we got to the spot, the clouds rolled in and completely covered it! But we ended up with about a dozen more that were so good, I ended up doing a collage instead.

The obvious spots are in front of the Christmas trees at each park and the resorts, and of course a pic in front of the castle. If you have ancestry from any of the countries in Epcot, maybe a pic there. Or a group pic with Santa and Mrs. Claus (or the other countries' storytellers). Or even Town Square Mickey. I'm sure some other DIS'ers have some more original ideas.
