I was wondering if anyone can tell me if you must now link a ride photo to your memory maker by physically tapping at the photo pickup location? Photos always used to just get automatically added to my previous mm but no ride photos have shown up from yesterday or today.

No you don't have to physically tap your MB. There must be some issue that needs to be rectified.
Perhaps guest services could help.

Most obvious culprit is if you're using a magic band that is about 3+ years old

Assuming the battery in your MB hasn't died, they should be picked up automatically. However, on my last trip, we found that our Test Track photos were messed up every single time we rode it. After our first ride resulted in pictures of someone else, we decided to tap a band to grab subsequent Test Track rides. Each of those subsequent rides resulted in two photos. The one we tapped with our band that actually had us in the car, and another car with a bunch of people we don't know. Also, our Frozen Ever After pic took until the next day to show up.

Ours all showed up, however, they didn't download when we selected download all, at least not the first time around. After we did our edits, and downloaded all again, we got them the second time.

Thanks for the replies!I never thought about my magic band being the culprit. I did wear my older one, it's 4 years old. Guess it's time for a new one. I'm so sad, I actually pried my eyes open on expedition Everest this time!!! Lol.
