Memory Maker and Annual Pass

I just upgraded to an AP today. I'm looking on my MDE and I don't see that I have memory maker. Should it show that I have MM? Am I looking at the wrong place, where would I find it? I just want to make sure I do have it. Thanks.

On the app - hit the 'head' at the bottom of the screen, it will pull up your account details - keep scrolling down and your photos will be under 'My Plans' section. In my case they show following my next dining reservation, my next resort reservation

On the website - on the MDE dropdown - Photography/My Photos

Then how do I know if it was added to my account? And would those on my Friends & Family list be added automatically to my memory maker just by being on my Friends & Family list?

Your MDE account doesn't show you as having Memory Maker because technically you don't have Memory Maker. What you have is unlimited PhotoPass photo downloads, which works like MM, but better, since it lasts for the whole year that your AP lasts.

You don't have memory maker. AP's get photopass, which is the same but lasts the full year unlike MM.

Those on your mde list are not extended the photopass option. It's only good for the AP holder. On mde you can get the photos of everyone on your list as long as you check to share photos. Everyone that does this will get everyone's photos in their mde and the AP can download everyone's photos whether the AP is in the photo or not

Also, did you activate your AP at Disneyworld yet? My understanding is that you won't see photos until you activate your AP.

If she is on your My Family and Friends list and had permission to view your pictures she can se them. Only you will be able to download them.

If you click update to the right of her name there is a box on the right to share My Disney PhotoPass Photos.

It took forever for my photos to show up after I bought an AP. I thought that either A) The promotion was over and I had missed it, or that B) There was an extra step I was missing.

Eventually they started showing up.

and a further question. My DD has the AP. She is linked with me on MDE and the share photos box is checked. I have my son & his family set up in my account. They do not have a separate MDE account. How do my DD and DDIL share photos? If DDIL has pictures taken using her MB, will they show up in DD's account for downloading?

Yes. She will need to set up her own MDE account in order to view photos on her own without using your login. Then you can invite her to plan and share to the email she used.

Yes, she can see all of us in her MDE account so we should be set. Once she downloads the pictures to her computer, it was suggested here that she then upload them to Shutterfly in a shared album & we can all access them.
