Memory Maker (again folks!! - apologies)

Hi. I am off to wdw in December. I have two reservations, one in my mom's name one in mine. The reservations both show up in my MDE info and all the guests are linked as family and friends. There are 7 of us.

Ok. I have purchased memory maker. Will my kids (for example) riding without me be able to link their attraction photos to my MM account? Also, will they have to scan their magic bands after the ride? Will they need to know the photo number? Will my parents be able to scan their magicbands with a photographer (without me) and then will their photos be in my MM account?

Also, I have my MM attached to my reservation for which I have magic bands. Why did wdw send me a MM card via fed ex today? Do I need it?

1000 apologies - I have read and read FAQs and forums and cannot answer the above questions. JUST when I think I get it, they say something that doesn't work for the above scenarios.

When you go on the rides it links the pictures automatically. No need to scan anything or go to the desk.

I would think that all the family members would be linked onto the memory maker since they all show up, but maybe you want to call a head of time to double check.

The people on your reservation will automatically link.

The people on your mom's reservation will automatically link if she has enabled sharing with you.

You should be able to see the entire party through your MDE if you are all linked properly. It sounds like you've done this correctly.

You will not need anyone to scan their band at the end of rides, but be aware that when you are reviewing the photos in your memory maker account, you will be able to see all the Photopass photos as well as the ride photos. If your mom logs into her account, she will be able to see the Photopass photos, but she will not be able to see the ride photos.

Thanks for the info. One more thing, my mom doesn't have her own disney experience account (although her reservation is showing in my MDE), it is all done through mine (she is a bit of a technophobe!!). I am assuming that therefore as she is in my friends and family, her photos will come to my MM account too. am I right? Just asking in case somehow she drops off the radar as she has no MDE. Doesn't make sense for that to happen, granted, but hubby works with computers and they do odd things sometimes.....
