There has probably been a thread like this... but are some of your best or worst memories at Walt Disney World?

I've had so many good memories.

But a bad one is one day we couldn't find anywhere to eat. We had a totally bad experience at Beaches & Cream (we totally waited forever to be told that we'd still end up waiting even longer) and we were sick of eating chicken fingers. We were cranky and yelling at each other...
We ended up eating at O'Hanas which was a good memory, but what happened before that was awful.

Worst memory was losing my little sisters in the Wilderness Lodge.

It was when I was probably 11, and we had family friends that were staying there, too. The parents were all in our hotel room, and we (meaning my friends, my brother, and my little sisters and me) were all in our family friends room.
We decided to go to the pool, and I needed to go to my hotel room to get changed. My brother thought I was bringing my little sisters (who were 3 at the time), so he sent them out of the room and closed the door. I had already taken off running and didn't see them, and they tried running after me, but I rounded a corner and they lost me and didn't know where to go.

So some couple saw these two little 3-year-olds sobbing in the middle of the hallway and called the front desk.
About three minutes later, their was a knock at our hotel room door (where all of the parents were, and where I was getting changed).
This lady in uniform is with my little sisters, asking if they were our's. I just started stuttering, because I realized how much trouble I would be in.

I called over my dad, and my little sisters ran to my mom. The lady turned out to be from SOCIAL SERVICES and told my dad that if this ever happened again (even after he had explained that they didn't even know my sisters were missing, it was a mixup) that the state of Florida would put my sisters into the social services system.
My dad was on the verge of tears, he was so upset and it had scared him so much.

Needless to say, me and my brother didn't get to go swimming that day xD
But yeah, that was a TERRIBLE experience.

why think about your worst?

Why?
To tell people something that you always wanted to share but never got the chance to... or just if you want to get the story out there. It made more sense to me when I was making the thread.:confused3

It might be smart to tell all of you my best and/or worst memories too.

My worst:
We were in Magic Kingdom and it started to rain... hard. So hard that it hurt. We ran to the closes thing that would keep us dry. It was the people mover/ transit authority ride, whatever you want to call it. About half way through the ride it broke down because of a breaker getting soaked with water and shorting out. By this point the storm was worse than before. Now it was thundering and there was lightning hitting the lightning rodes above us on the ride. To make madders worse the rain was coming in from the sides and was hitting us hard once again. We had to get evacuated from the ride on a very slippery platform with my 5 year old scared to death sister.

My best:
Because of this rainy day our flight was cancel and our re booked flight back home was in 7 days. How is this good?
We got 7 extra days at Disney World on top of our already 10 day trip. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

okay so... my worst:

the first time EVER i was in disney, it was thanksgiving day. it was my first time to magic kingdom and it was rather crowded. i was watching some wizard and my parents wernt with me. i lingered away from them, thinking that they were following me. turns out they were getting on philhar magic, and wen they asked me a ? and i didnt respond, they freeeeeeked out. finally i was crying, and an employee came up and found my parents. at the time i was 7 years old.

one of the best memories that i have had at disneyworld was probably when my sister and me were younger and we went w/ my grandparents and the park was just about to open. they were looking for people to open the park and they picked me and my sister. we got to let down the flag and ride in the front of the monorail. its was really fun considering i was like in kindergarten.
another time was when i got to see the castle light up for Christmas for i think maybe the first time (i can't remember whether i did when i was younger or not :) ) it was sooooooooo pretty. i loved it even though it was freezin' cold.

My best memory was when I brought my best friend with me to Disney World. We've been best friends since we were 3 and 4, and it was the greatest thing ever. Also it was her first time even going out of state, and flying on an airplane. We do everything together, and I'm so glad that she came that time, I know it will definatley not be the same next time we go, because she won't be with me ):

I've been so many times I can't remember but I think my worst was when I was about 4 I was at the Country Bear Jamboree and I got stung by a bee right on my lip. NOT COOL. My lip was swollen for the next like three days.

Actually, another awful time was when I went with my best friend last year and my mom went too. Well my mom wanted to go off and do her own thing with her friends. By the end of the day my cellphone died and my friend didn't have hers. We had no way of getting in touch with my mom. Finally after panhandling we got enough change to use the payphone. Well my mom ignored the call because she thought it was someone else. Needless to say she got a nasty voicemail from me. :p

Grad Nite is probably one of my worst memories of Disneyland. Not only did my school get snubbed at the entrance until about 1 am, but the lines were long everywhere and there was nothing to eat anywhere by the time I needed food. My friend's boyfriend got sick so we didn't get to ride a lot of big rides and the stores were so crowded that we couldn't even look at stuff, let alone get into the line to buy it!
Fun regardless, but not pleasant for those of us who had to then sit on a charter bus for a 6-hour trip home, to not be able to find food anywhere. :C

Best was the first time I went in 2007 and I got a dream fast pass back when that was a new thing. I have a lot more pleasant memories of Disneyland and Disney World than I have negative.

WDW though, was so hot last time I went that the ice cream I bought melted instantly when I opened it and got all over me. :worried: I remember when the airport doors opened and we all felt like we couldn't breathe. It made Los Angeles feel a LOT cooler in July when we got home.

Best: Riding Test Track with my youngest brother. It was his first time on that ride and he was freaking out. It was pretty funny.

Worst: This was many years ago, I was probably 10 at the time. But I tripped on the pavement and I scraped my knee up really badly and we had to go back to the resort. My brother and younger sister hated me. I was miserable the rest of the trip because my siblings wouldn't talk to me and my knee stung really badly.

I also got a really bad cold right before we left one time and I was sneezing and coughing and miserable for an entire week there. Not funnn!!
