Memorial wording.

My DH and I wanted to memorialize his dad, my grandparents, and a favorite aunt. We put the following poem in our program:
Some people come into our lives,
Leave footprints on our hearts,
And we are never again the same.
After that we had "We would like to remember our family members who could not be with us today" followed by their names.
At our reception, we framed pictures of us with our loved ones.
We got so many compliments on how nice it was without being too sad.

we had a poem in our program for my brother in law & family that was no longer with us.

"maybe those are not stars in the sky but our loved ones shining day saying were happy....in loving memory to ....."

we also had some pictures up at our prereception & we included a frame with my bil.
