Memorial Weekend and Epcot Flower Festival

Hi all

Travelling to WDW for the last two weeks of May so our trip will clash with both Memorial Day weekend and the Epcot flower show.

Does this mean that a) Epcot will be unusually busy?
and b) all of the parks will be extra busy over the memorial weekend?

If either of these is true does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives over memorial weeked for less busy parks and lighter days to visit Epcot during the flower thing.

Must admit flowers are not really my cup of tea so don't mind missing out on the festival, but don't want to miss out on Epcot as (if nothing else) it hold three of my top rides - Test Track, Mission Space and Soarin'.

We went during the Flower & Garden Festival Last year and I wouldn't say that EPCOT was any more busy during this time than at the other times we have been.

EPCOT also looks really lovely during the Festival so it is well worth going and having a look around

Looking at the pictures of the flower festival it does look pretty cool.

The topary (Sp) charcters look good.

Also my Mum and Dad will enjoy it.

we went last year over memorial weekend, the flower festival was amazing, not really into flowers at home but the disney topiary was amazing.we had planned to stay away from the park on memorial day monday and went to epcot on sun, queues were ok no worse than previously but, we had fastpasses for test track about 6pm, its my DD,s favourite, we queued up an when it was our turn it broke down, they gave us fastpasses for anytime the next day so we had to go back, the queues were awful, soarin and TT were 120 mins we walked straight on test track andleft shortly after, i would definately avoid the main holidays if you could, if you like to shop, the shops had memorial day sales.
