I am taking a friend to DL on Memorial Day weekend. She hasn't been to DL since pre-DCA days. We will only be in the parks Sat-Sun, which park should we go on what day, or does it matter with it being a holiday?

It may not matter much since it is a holiday, but I'd say DCA on Sat and DL on Sun. Although depending on what you want to do at DCA, you can probably catch all the major rides in less than a day and do DL on both days. I love being at DCA and can spend a whole day there though. Be sure to check out the show/parade times for what you want to see, that would be a factor too. DCA has Turtle Talk with Crush, the ELP, and Aladian to check out.

Also even if you decide to spend the whole day at DCA, it opens and closes earlier than DL, so you can still get a little DL in. It really depends on how long you want to be in the parks and what you want to see.

Have a great time!

Are you going to have park hoppers? Because most all 2 day tickets are park hoppers (except for 2Fers). I recommend getting to DL early both days and touring DCA in the afternoons on both days. Then return to DL both days for fireworks one night and Fantasmic the other.

Thanks, didn't think about doing that. I just realized that the WBPC DCL cruise comes in on Sunday, so I am thinking DL maybe a bit busy that day.:confused3

But still since DL opens at 8AM and DCA opens at 10AM, those two hours at DL are better than nothing. Plus if a DCL cruise comes in, I would guess that that night won't be very crowded as the cruise members will be very tired. But that's just a guess.

i would go to disneyland at 8am for the opening and ride something like peter pan, or one of the other non FP rides (but not pirates or haunted mansion- those lines can move fast) and pick up a fast pass for later in the day when you come back.

Then head to CA until they close or until you've done enough. Then head back to Disneyland!

We'll be going to DL on the 25th after we get off the cruise as it will be the only night during our post-cruise stay that we will be able to see Fantasmic! :wizard:

We cruisers might be tired but we will be raring to go!!!!!! :yay:

We are also going to be in Disney over Memorial day week-end. We are just going to be prepared for long lines and crowds. I didn't even think about the cruise - yikes! Oh well all is well at Disney!:goodvibes
