Hi Folks,

Help

We will be in Kissimmee over Memorial Day. Any suggestions what to do on presumably this busy day?

We will already have been to the main parks, have done Space Centre, are going to beach later, have been on airboat ride, Weekiwa Springs!

Don't want to use it as a 'day off' but want to 'do' a bit of something, but am obviously concerned about the crowds and traffic.

Thinking about going and doing something, any ideas would be appreciated. One thing we haven't done yet is shopping (my husband hates it, kids love it) what do you think about Kissimmee Old Town, or any other suggestions please.

Oh by the way, might be helpful to mention that we have two boys 12 and 15.

Thanks

Memorial day is actually memorial weekend, running from the saturday to the monday!!!

The parks get REALLY busy, so I would suggest doing alternative things on all 3 of these days.

Old town isnt that place to go for shopping, you will need the malls for that. Miniture Golf, look round the onsite hotels at Disney, have a lazy coffee. You could easily spend a day looking at the hotels, wilderness lodge, grand floridian and animal kingdom lodge are great.

celebration, this is a lazy laid back affair, with shops, and nice coffe places, cafes.

Downtown Disney is always worth a look!!. Check out whats on at the pictures here, as they get things months ahead of us.

There are many things to do, depending on what your likes and dislikes are.

We are usually there over the Memorial day weekend, arriving on the Saturday.
We have always gone to the Magic Kingdom on the sunday and although it was busy it was manageable.
On Memorial day itself (Monday) we go to SeaWorld and have never had any problems at all! The park doesn't seem to any busier than any other day. Give it a try.

Thanks folks,

Shopping, mini golf or Seaworld could be an option. Didn't reckon on the weekend being so busy, though it seems opinion is divided. Any other comments from others??

Any suggestions for shopping plazas, ie sports shops, electronic/computer/camera type shops to keep hubby happy. He find Trafford Centre in Manchester too much!

Appreciate the help

We will be there over memorial w/e as well. Thought it would only be Monday that would be busy too. Now rethinking my itinerary! We have 4 kids aged 4, 3, 2 and 8 months so think we might 'do' the beach this w/e. What is the nearest and nicest beach?
