Memorial Day Weekend

Anyone going Memorial Day Weekend?? Do they do anything special for the troops or anything? Any tips of crowds and weather? Anyone elso going that time??

Hi DisneyFan,

Crowds will be...well, crowded! Weather should be nice and warm, highs near 90 and lows in the upper 60s.

Don't know about special tributes though...sorry.

They used to do a special flag raising and lowering ceremony at MK with vets as the color guard. We avoid that weekend because of the HUGE, HUGE crowds, so I can't tell you if they are still doing it.

If the crowds are very big for that weekend, you should call WDW-DINE right away and see what you can get. Availability may make your character breakfast decision for you.

Well, there are plenty of choices; it depends on where you are staying, if you want to do it in a park or in a resort, if you like princesses, etc.

Try doing a seach on the "restaurants" board and you will find lots of suggestions.
