Memorial Day Weekend??

How busy is it? We were thinking of starting our vacation this weekend thru June 11th. I was curious on the crowds. Thanks!!

Long lines for food and for rides.

There are some who attend just for the weekend and then there are others who start their long vacations there. It may empty out come Tuesday or Wednesday though.

We're one of those people starting a week trip on the Friday before Mem Day. Did you go for the week on your visit? Was I-4 really backed up?

Crowds are fairly heavy, but still better to go as early in the summer as possible. Schools are out in the South before Memorial Day, so crowds pick-up with each passing week. In 2004, the weather was very hot, upper 90's most the week.

It's pretty crowded. Expect long lines in the afternoon and fairly intensive heat. If you can go the week after, it wont be half as crowded.

Last year I went the week after, and was told by cm's that we had a busier week last year. Will definitely have my ps's in order!!!!
