We left Tampa Friday afternoon (me, my wife, our 5 year old son, our 2 year old daughter, our two friends Mr. and Mrs. P. and their 2 year old neice) and arrived at the Caribbean Beach Resort around supper time. We checked into Barbados and had a great room. We spent Friday night enjoying Old Port Royale food court, the pool, and a wonderful walk around the promenade. We went to EPCOT Saturday morning and enjoyed Future World before lunch at the Garden Grove - GREAT CHARACTER MEAL!!!! We spent the afternoon walking around World Showcase, riding Test Track, and shopping. We went back to the hotel for a quick swim and then off to MGM to ride RocknRoller Coaster and Tower of Terror. My friend Mr. P and I were on one of the last Tower rides of the night - very cool in the dark! We got up early Sunday and went to Magic Kingdom - braved the smoke and had a great time! It was bad from about 9-11 but we just did indoor things (ie Buzz, Character greet at Toon Town, Space Mountain, etc). We went back to the hotel to swim around 2pm after lunch at the Pinocchio Village Haus. We drove to Boardwalk for supper at the ESPN club around 6pm and caught the end of the Lakers/Spurs excuse for a game and then drove over to Downtown Disney for some choclate from Ghiradelli's and then went back to CBR. We got up Monday, went swimming, relaxed in the hammocks by the beach, showered, got dressed, packed the car, and then rode the bus to MGM. We had a great day, rode the bus back to CBR, and then 1.5 hours later we were home in Tampa.
As always, Disney was great!!! We had a wonderful time! My son wants everyone to know what a good swimmer he is now!!!!!
