Does anyone know what to expect as far as crowds during Memorial Day weekend? We're going down for the Star Wars events, and have planned to spend Monday (Mem. Day) at Blizzard Beach because we're thinking the parks will be crowded, that is if Blizzard Beach re-opens like their suppose to in April.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I was there last year and MK was very very busy on the Monday... I think every ride had long lineups. Epcot wasn't as bad but still fairly busy. At least that was the way it was last year... I haven't been to the waterparks on Memorial Day weekend yet... maybe someone else will know :p

We were there last year over MD weekend - I waited until Tuesday of the "weekend" (after the holiday day) to head to Blizzard Beach because it is my favorite park and I generally find large crowds at water parks to be less tolerable than at non-water parks (no fast pass, you are standing around in a swimsuit and waiting for 30 minutes just to ride a 30 second slide).

So we went on the Tuesday and it was very crowded. But probably less than it would have been on the weekend. We are going this year again and plan to hit BB on Friday morning, before the holiday weekend crowd has settled in.

Good luck.

You really might want to re-think that because all of the locals hit the water parks on weekends and holidays. Especially with that being the "official"start of summer. It really makes them crowded.
