Memorial Day weekend-how many days?

I've visited WDW 7 times, but never DL or DCA. Taking the WB Repo next May and will end up in LA on Memorial Sunday morning. I believe we must be off the ship around 8. I would like to visit DL and DCA following this.

If it's anything like WDW, it will be crowded. How long will it take us to get from where the ship docks to DLR? And how many days will we need for each park?

3 days is usually enough, but since it is your first time and there most likely will be crowds, i would say 4-5 days would be good

Lucky you on the Repo! It should take you about 45-50 minutes in no traffic, and since it's a Sunday morning, it won't be as bad as the other days. CA is a park we do in 1/2day when it's slow, so maybe a day to 1-1/2 days if busier. DL will be packed, so 2-3 days if you like to do all the little kid fantasyland rides.

I agree with PrincessKim 4-5 days especially if you want to get everythign in. We were there this past Memorial Day Week and it got pretty crowded on Fri-Sun (don't know about Monday since we left Sunday night). Luckily we had done almost everything prior to Fri.

Wow, this vacation is getting longer and longer! Seriously, I could probably only realistically do 3 days or I'd have to be off work for like 3 weeks!

You can do it in three. Just have a plan, get there when they open and you will be fine. Save CA for times DL is really really busy
