O.k. it has just hit me that we will be at DL for Memorial Day weekend. How are the crowd levels? What kind of wait times should we expect? We will be arriving May 25 and departing May 28. Will the parks be extremely busy?

Yes but don't feel bad just be smart about it. Arrive early and accumulate fast passes and do some of the shows during the peak hours. Your gonna have a great time, don't worry about it.

I've gone to Disneyland many many times during that weekend and have never had a problem with the crowds...maybe 30 minute waits at the most. I have found that weekend and Labor Day weekends very enjoyable.

Thanks for the info! We're also planning a trip May 24-31 and had heard that crowds weren't usually too bad.

We will also be there May 23 - 26. I wasn't going to mention the words crowds or lines to my DH in hopes he doesn't figue it out.:rotfl:

grumpymakesmehappy - we were also set to go on the same weekend as its my DD 7th bday I changed it to the next weekend to avoid the possible crowds (we're pretending its her birthday on 5/28!) When its crowded we usually collect all the fastpasses in the am (taking advantaged of early entry) and then use them later in the day/evening so when those lines are really long we aren't standing in them. That plan has always worked well for us be we always leave the park after lunch and hang out at the hotel and swim for a break. Have a nice weekend and say hello to Grumpy for me!

Will do!:thumbsup2 Well, this was better news than I had expected. Unfortunately, my dates are unchangeable so I will have to grin and bear it. ;) 30 minute lines aren't bad at all. We can handle that! Thanks guys.

My best friend and I will be there Memorial Day weekend too. Our dates are also unchangeable since we are there to see our dd's march in a Disneyland parade. That was better news than I expected too and my friend and I will be grinning and bearing right along with you! We are expecting VERY high crowds and if it's not as bad as we imagine....that will be bonus! We'll be taking advantage of Fast Pass and if the lines are only 30 minutes, I agree, that's not bad at all!
