We are going on our first family WDW trip May 28- June 4

We have 5 day Park Hopper, but I wanted to see if I could get any touring advice. We are staying off property so EE hours do not apply.

Saturday 5/29- Epcot
Sunday 5/30- AK / MGM
Monday 5/31- MK
Tuesday- Rest or Seaworld (depends on the children)
Wednesday 6/2- MGM
Thursday 6/3- Any parks that we want to revisit

We are trying not to overplan, but make sure we take into account EE hours. Any advice or things we may want to consider?

I think Monday the 31st is going to be crowded at MK, Monday is always a bad day at MK, and the 31st is also a holiday... It might be a good MGM day, it is the day after an EE for MGM (I think)...
Lots of people like Wednesday for MK too- so you could swap those out. Otherwise it looks good to me.

6/3, and possibly 6/2, may be "Gay Days." Check which park they'll be at and avoid.

"Gay Days" won't matter to you.......
They are:
6/4 @ MGM
6/5 @ MK
6/6 @ Epcot

I agree with the MK and MGM swap.
Another thing to consider.... How old are the children?
They might not be patient enough to wait to see MK until later in the week......
You could do MK first thing on Sat for a few hours. It is not an EE day. Saturdays are typically busy no matter what time of year, but may not be as bad as Sunday Or Monday.
Then you could hop the monorail to Epcot for the rest of the day.

Also, consider a break day on a day other than Tuesday....that is Spectro at MK and 2 showings of Fantasmic at MGM

I would make Monday a rest day or Sea World and go to MK on Tues. Monday is Memorial day and I think MK is going to be pretty crowded. Or go to MK Wed or Thur.

Perhaps Monday should be your "rest day"? That's the best way to avoid Memorial Day crowds! I'll be there roughly the same time period.

Great! Thanks so much! Our children are 4 1/2 and 11 months. I know they will enjoy MK, but I want to go on the most optimal day. We are so excited because this is our first trip. All this info is very helpful. We have looked into the gay days to plan around, but trying to consider EE days as well as the holiday can become difficult!
